The Jewish Birthday
Your birthday commemorates the day on which G‑d said to you: “You, as an individual, are unique and irreplaceable. No person alive, no person who has ever lived, and no person who shall ever live, can fulfill the specific role in My creation I have entrusted to you ... ”
Here you will learn the history of Jewish birthdays, why they are significant and how they are celebrated.
Happy birthday!
When is my Jewish birthday?
Your Jewish birthday is on the Hebrew date you were born, which falls on a different day of the Georgian calendar every year.

Please note: in Judaism the day begins at nightfall, so before we can know the exact date of your Jewish birthday we need to determine what time of day you were born. E.g. Apr 7th 2021 is 25 Nissan 5781, however, after sunset (7:26pm in Stamford) it would be 26 Nissan.
So before you fill out either of these forms, check if you were born before or after sunset. If you do not know, it is customary to assume before sunset.
